PROP D: Strengthen ethics laws for elected officials (March 2024)

SAN FRANCISCO LOCAL MEASURE

Proposition D would further restrict the amount of gifts that city employees and officers can receive in San Francisco and require more reporting of gifts to city departments. This measure would also create additional penalties for ethics violations and require ethics training for more City employees.

Stronger ethics laws mean that our government is better protected from corruption. At a time when democracy is under threat, we need all the good-government laws we can pass to protect us from being in a system where politicians can be bought. Vote YES on Prop D.
