Patrick Bell is a 2nd generation San Franciscan raised in the Twin Peaks neighborhood. He
attended San Francisco public schools through 8th grade and Sacred Heart Cathedral
Preparatory for high school. After high school, he attended City College of San Francisco. Upon
completing his education, Patrick joined the UA Local 38 Plumbers and Pipefitters Union, where
he has been an active member for over 30 years. He currently serves as the Recording
Secretary for the Union and holds a Supervisory position at the San Francisco Water
Department, where he has worked for over 20 years.
Patrick is a lifelong Democrat and an active member of his community. He passionately
supports policies that promote stability for working families. He has followed San Francisco
politics his entire life and is excited to make a difference in local policies by being elected to the
DCCC. Patrick is married to a fellow SF native, and they are raising their three children in San
Francisco.
